Motel 6 Petaluma, CA

ROACHES DO NOT STAY HERE FOR YOUR HEALTH. MY HUSBAND AND CHECKED IN LONG ENOUGH TO GO HAVE DINNER WITH FAMILY CAME BACK AND SAW ONE ROACH THAT WENT BEHIND THE HEADBOARD. THEN WE TRIED TO FIND IT AND 6 MORE POPPED OUT AND SCATTERED ON THE WALL. THIS IS UNHEALTHY AS THE ROACHES CARRY DISEASE. WE CHECKED OUT AT 10:00 PM AND NEVER TURNED BACK. THIS RUINED MY THANKSGIVING!! WE HAD TO SLEEP IN OUR CAR THE REST OF THE EVENING BECAUSE WE COULD NOT BOOK A ROOM THAT LATE ON A HOLIDAY EVE. STILL WAITING FOR MY REDUND!! DONT STAY HERE PEOPLE. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED

First thing we liked was the size of the room. Previous motel6 was half the size. Beware of cockroaches, protect your belongings and check them on the way out so you don't take any with you, they are here. Fairly quiet. No room service, request towels/toilet paper etc at front desk. Maintenance didn't want to address anything so good luck with that. Front desk people are super friendly and they get all the stars. Despite what may seem negative, I would stay here again if I had to. The internet is decent too btw.

Good value, nicely remodeled. Comfortable but, as you would expect, minimalist. Don't look for shampoo and conditioner, an ice bucket larger than a tea cup, or, unfortunately, an acceptably clean floor and bathtub. Bed was crisp and clean and TV had enough channels. Room was nice, nicer than I expected for the price. It would have far exceeded my expectations if housekeeping had either cleaned it well before I checked in (let alone put a sticker or something across the door lock or something to give me confidence checking in during a pandemic. Something saying that its been sanitized or even cleaned for example. Even with that, I'd stay there again. Polite front desk.

Ads say fridge/microwave in room. Shared microwave across from the office in the laundry room. Ad says breakfast. No. Wi-Fi is horrible. At least where I was. Directly behind office. Cable TV was 3 local channels, 4 sports, 4 news, 4 cartoons, 3 Spanish. All of which are worthless to me. I was left with E, tlc, travel, paramount, AMC and 2 showtime. My hotspot got a workout. The plus side. The manager is hilarious. No BS kinda lady. The rest of the staff was accommodating and pleasant. It was quiet. Clean. And for the price, who can complain. If you need a no frills, clean, no drama spot. It's here.

I rate 5 stars for great customer service. Front desk was very nice and well mannered and I loved that pets were free. I rate 1 star for room cleanliness. The room smelled dirty, the sheets were dirty, the restroom was dirty. I didn't feel safe since neighbors were outside listening to music and staring our way. I personally will never stay there again.
