Courtyard by Marriott Petaluma Sonoma County

Wow, amazing and gorgeous will update this review… Ok, I’m back and I’m staying for 3 nights this time in an upgraded room. The rooms are fantastic here! The decor is gorgeous! I will add photos, but you can see their photos on the website and they are accurate. The bed is like a piece of heaven, the noise level is very low and peaceful, I felt really comfortable and could sleep easily my last stay and so far it’s been quiet and relaxing. There was a mix up where my upgraded room wasn’t ready yet, but Enma went above and beyond to make sure it got cleaned and offered me something from the marketplace. I was a little worried when I saw all the reviews. I actually enjoyed my stay. The receptionist when we arrived could be a little more warm, but did all he had to. Room was nice and clean. Gym is big and well equipped. Coffee in the morning was on point, and I did not wait 5 minutes to get my order (very quick). Parking outside, free. ||Location is not “the best”, but it is 5m by car from downtown. As you will be driving, this should be an easy ride. ||With all that said, I recommend the stay

I’m surprised by the bad reviews. We have stayed at this Marriott two times a year for about 4 years while visiting our daughter’s family and have always been happy. Large room, clean, very comfortable bed and great pool and outside jetted spa. The staff have always gone out of their way to accommodate us. We’ve appreciated the free parking. After staying at a few other hotels in Petaluma where we had to fight to find parking and the noise level in the hotel was terrible we have always opted for this Marriott- recommend.

I’m a notoriously light sleeper, I booked the executive suite but also noted in my booking that I was a light sleeper. In the last year I’ve booked over 100 hotels, this is the first time in all those bookings that I’ve ever had the hotel staff go out of their way to find me the quietest room in the hotel and check on me the next morning asking if I slept. That’s a level of service that will bring me back.
