Motel 6 Madison, WI - East

I've stayed at this location a few times before & never had an issue. Until today It was an half hour before my check out & from my cellphone I call front desk & no answer. I called a few more times after & no answer. Then I used the landline in the room. Again no answer, called again finally someone picked up 5 minutes before 11am. I tried requesting to have my check out time extended at least another 30min to an hour. The Customer Serv Rep. suggested that either go online or go downstairs to rebook the room. Being that I made my reservation via 3rd party app that extending my check out time is not an option. So basically the motel can accept the payment from the 3rd party apps but the customer looses any amenities/services if they do. Again like I said never had an issue and workers a

I very often stay at Motel 6s and normally have good experiences... This is completely the opposite. There were lots of things broken all over the hotel, holes in the walls, lights didn't work, mystery stains, very dirty, cockroaches, other guests seemed to be having parties in the other room, lots of noise, yelling, fights and banging. Seemed to me there were many guests on drugs. I did not feel safe there. I do not recommend this Motel 6! Beware!

Rate was a bit much for the room quality. I know paying for a budget hotel you don’t expect much, but the entire hotel and my room smelled of both tobacco and marijuana smoke. The room was clean, but falling apart, with trim coming off the walls and a clear gap where the AC/heater unit connects to the exterior wall. There is a cable box, but no TV in the room as well.

Place is full with Cockroaches and bed bugs. Whole place was filthy and not safe at all. I was only able to stay half of the night because I had no other choice but when I reported to management they refused to give me a full refund or to fix the issue. They didn’t even seem surprised about my report. There was prostitution deals happening in parking lot. There was drug dealing as well. People picking from the windows. Unsafe, disgusting and completely and unacceptable management. Don’t waste your time, health, money, and peace of mind.

Positive: it was cheap Negative: where do i started first there was no tv in the room, but on the website it said it does and the wifi doesnt work at it was so bad i had to stand by the window to get other wifi, but they say they have wifi not. Also they have god damn Cockroach .
