Motel 6 Liberal, KS

Conveniently located right off the highway for travels. Its a motel 6 you get what you pay for but I feel I was over charged ($100) I only stayed here because pets stay free no matter the size. I asked for a non smoking room but it was right next door to a smoking room it smelt awful. The bedding appeared clean. The floor not so much. Someone's used bandages with blood were just laying there. No water pressure in the sink just a small drizzle. No lightning in the bathroom as the switch it broke🙃 and to top it off didn't have access to a shower the next morning I went to turn the handle and the entire thing just fell off. So I felt I was entitled to some sort a refund. I go to the front desk and no one is there! Sign on the door said if need immediate service go next door to the comfort in.

It is a typical Motel 6. The room was decent. It came equipped with a mini fridge. The grounds are all paved and dirt. Had to walk next door to find some grass to walk the dogs. There is a large dirt lot behind the motel which is where large trucks park. The motel was relatively quiet, but there weren't that many guests. I felt safe enough as a solo female traveler. The staff wasn't rude but they weren't overly friendly. All rooms are accessed from the outside and there are only steps for the upper level. It was convenient for traveling through Liberal, KS, but there are several other budget motels that may be nicer. At least Motel 6 is still pet friendly without an extra charge. You know what you are getting.

No complaints at all

I stayed at the motel 6 in liberal Kansas. It was an excellent experience from checking in all the way through checking out. It was clean and in excellent condition. The staff was very efficient and friendly. The price was right, and my dog stayed free. The manager is awesome!

The bed was comfortable and I think clean. The room was cheap. Water came out of the faucet and the shower and I was able to get clean. Overall, the place is rather sad, and gross , but I think the room was just under 60 bucks and I was on a strict budget. I happened to have a black light flashlight that I use when I go thrifting , and unfortunately, the toilet that was leaking and not working very well caused me to use it. I do not like all of the glowing what I must assume is urine stains all over the floor, around the toilet and on the doors and walls. Lit up like a Christmas tree and I did not want to see anything else! Just wore my flip-flops everywhere, wiped my bare feet off when I got into bed and that was that.
