Motel 6 Lewisville, TX - Dallas

I had a very disappointing experience staying at this motel. First of all, the place was extremely crowded and noisy, which made it very uncomfortable to relax or rest. The room itself was incredibly small and in very poor condition. It honestly felt neglected and not well maintained at all. What made the experience even worse is that the listing clearly stated that the room included a small refrigerator. I specifically chose this motel because of that detail, but when I arrived, there was no refrigerator in the room at all. This was very misleading and felt like false advertising. When I spoke to the employee at the front desk, he simply told me there was nothing he could do about it and didn’t even try to help or offer any solution. The room is decent for a $50 room. The problem were the housekeepers. They did not want to clean the rooms. When I asked for fresh towels, they handed me a stack of hand towels. The spent most of the day sitting in the next room talking. When they did clean my room, they were talking on the phone the entire time. I called and asked the policy for cleaning rooms. I was staying for 8 days. I was told they clean rooms every other day, but I could go to the front desk for clean towels. If you can, take your own towels. The towels are very thin and scratchy. Also, the bedspreads are scratchy. So if you can, take your own blanket. Also, there is no coffee maker in the room. They serve coffee in the lobby. The is a microwave and small fridge. The guy at the front desk just sat behind the desk while my 70 year old mother struggled to get in the front doors with her stuff. As she was car sick from the long drive. She needed a restroom asap and would not make it to her room, she had to beg to use there bathroom. A hotel employee at the front desk is suppose to give customer service, hospitality and accommodate the guest! It's more then just rudely checking in guest. Besides it's just common curiosity to help your elders! Your not only in AMERICA 🇺🇸 YOUR IN TEXAS! WHERE we have a blend of southern hospitality, friendless, diverse living and always ready to help even a stranger. So it's very disappointing that she was ignored by the guy at front desk. A stranger ended up running to her aid just as she finally made it in the door.

**BEWARE OF THIS LOCATION** I had got a room here during the last ice storm and I used my debit card to pay inside the hotel. I only use this debit card for emergencies only particular a transfer account, nothing physical handing the card over transaction. But this time I used the physical card and handed it over to the night attendant, so far so good right. Then the following week after the stay I get an alert from my bank via text message that I have an Amazon payment plan for Affirm. I know that is false because again I don't use this card for a transaction of that matter. Went over my transaction history within my bank app and this was the only place I've ever used the physical card at. If you stay or stayed here check your bank statements to make sure you're not making monthly payment

Customer service was rude and guys in the room were telling housekeeper and others that I was smoking ****. I could hear then complain all night. Very unpleasant nights. I asked to move but they did not care about guest satisfaction at all.
