Motel 6 Lakeland, FL

I wish I could give this place less than one star. Most of my reviews are positive. Can't do that this time. This place is extremely dirty. The bed sheets were wet with urine. The floor inside of our room was coming apart and dirtier than a gas station sidewalk. The bathroom door was falling apart. The front door looked like it had been broken into. The room smelled like straight bleach mixed with cigarette. I'm not sure what they were using the bleach for but it wasn't cleaning.

Absolutely disgusting. Would have left but late in day. Fridge was dirty and old ice cream container was still in freezer. Mold in bathroom with what looked like throw up on the inside of bathroom door. Tub dirty, toilet and sinks dirty. Lights didn't work either. Paid 145.00 because of Spring Break. Wrote to Motel 6 and all they had to say was Sorry. Motel 6 used to be a clean safe economical hotel chain but not anymore. Will never stay with them again.

Front door was not closing properly looked as of tampered with. Room smelled of cigarettes. Bathroom door wood rotted at bottom. Floor was coming apart and filthy. Pulled back the bed sheets and there was a urine stain and smelled of urine. Front desk person said unable to give a refund. They get 0 stars, not worthy of 1!

Positive: Next to Duncan Donuts. Price Negative: door was warped and wouldn’t seal tightly to prevent outside noise. Did not supply enough towels and when asked for more. I was told because it was the weekend they wouldn’t have any till Monday afternoon. Seems it was mostly used as low income housing

Absolutely horrible. Killed two cock roaches in the first half hour I arrived. Had to have my key reactivate the second day. The water was off the third day. The floor was dirty, blood stains on the bathroom door. Absolutely trash. Do not stay here. I'm going to another motel tomorrow.
