Motel 6 Frederick, MD - Fort Detrick

If you come here ask not to be put in 311. It's cold and the heat is not working. This really should be a hotel of last resort. The owner/manager has made it this way so I don't feel bad saying it. No fridge. No microwave. There are hotels 5 minutes from here that charge less or the same but come with those small amenities. The room just smells heavy.

This hotel is very satisfying. Great location. The staff , from the front desk to the maids are very helpful and kind. There is plenty of shops, places to eat and entertainment for the entire family surrounding this hotel. The rooms are clean and well maintained.

Lady on the phone said we could check in early @ 1 because we were here for a wedding. When we got there the man was standing outside, didnt even let us enter, stating they cant check us in until 130. We had to wait in the car as I noticed many others were doing. He told us to come back at 130pm. We tried again at 130. They said they rooms weren't ready. Come back in 15 minutes. (They charge a 20.00 early check in fee which was not explained but now mentioned. )So again we waited in the car. 145. Still not ready. 2 pm when we should have been on our way to the wedding my husband had to go in again. We finally got a key card and emtered thr room the entire place smelled like bleach. So bad my throat was burning. Yes I know they just cleaned the room. But wow. With no other choi

The room was clean and spacious. The desk staff was pleasant. The bed slept great and wasn’t bad for the money.|The WiFi was bad. In my room anyways. Would not log in long enough to do anything. There was a huge empty space between the bed and bathroom. A table would have nicely filled the void. Had to run the water quite awhile before it got warm enough to get in the tub. No refrigerator. But, good enough for a one night stay.

had a wonderful stay at Motel 6, and I want to give a special shoutout to Aarju. Their friendly and professional attitude made my experience truly exceptional. The service was outstanding, and I felt very welcomed and well taken care of. Highly recommend!
