Motel 6 Escondido, CA

The staff was really nice. The room was pretty dirty, like as soon as water hit the floor it was black. Pretty nasty. It served it's purpose and I got some r&r before getting back on the road. It was a pretty convenient location. There is a lot of shopping nearby.

Positive: this motel was newly renovated. Everywhere is brand new, nice and clean. Negative: No micro wave or mini fridge

I will never stay at this hotel again. The rooms were nice and had everything I needed but I was not a fan of the one staff member who worked behind the desk has been rude and not friendly. I called about a safety concern and instead of trying to solve it, he calls me a liar and says it never happened. Next time I’ll just call the cops to deal with it.

Filthy...the floor was black...it seems like it had not been cleaned for months. I stepped on the floor after removing my shoes and my feet were black. The surfaces were wiped, but not cleaned. The towels were not the best looking. Way overpriced for what they offered. The coffee, however, was good. That's about the only good thing I can say about the place. Oh, and the location was good-close to basic amenities.

Love this Motel. It is clean and housekeeping checks on you every morning. There is laundry on site and coffee from morning till 5pm. The staff are friendly and helpful and the room was clean and smoke free. Its pet friendly most important so I can come here with my little birds. A gem among Motel 6
