My daughter had a riding lesson here and loved the path! It had rained all week, but it was still more than doable. They had just a couple puddles to walk through. Beautiful area!

I've always viewed Daley Ranch and Dixon Lake as 2 different entities next door to each other. Daley Ranch always has free parking when open, and Dixon Lake has paid parking during the weekend, holidays, and special events. So I'm not 100% sure why they're categorized together, except that they're next to each other and owned by the city of Escondido. But they're both awesome to go to. One for hiking/biking and the other for picnics, fishing and camping.

Very nice place to hike mountain bike we did Sage route to Stanley Peak overall hike was was moderate the last half a mile up to Stanley Peak is challenging overall nice view. If you hike during the summer just get there early because it will warm up in Escondido

Great place to hike. There are a lot of trails of varying difficulties. Check the weather. It starts getting hot. Bring water. The parking fills up early, but it seems like there are always people coming and going, so you should be able to get a spot on the street or in the lot.

This is a awesome place to hike, bike or ride a horse. You can pick and choose how long your hike will be 1/2 hour to most of the day. The views are awesome there are 3 or 4 lakes old barns, houses and the ranch house. Great place to bring the family and your dog as it is dog friendly area there are a few places with water and a bowl for them make a day of it there are picnic tables and rest rooms. There even a black top road to get to ranch house and picnic tables to walk on and push your stroller it is up hill most of the way.
