1 bedroom rooms are a nice size in the Mountain villa's area. Fireplace in living room and bedroom. Jacuzzi tub, 3 shower heads in shower, paint peeling on the ceiling. Nice balcony with table, 4 chairs and 2 rocking chairs. Close to pool. 2 sliding doors to patio, and neither of them lock.

I thought the Lawrence Welk resorts would be for my grandparents or great-grandparents...... but no this is a beautiful place that has a great golf course many pools Jacuzzi's entertainment for the kids and even a theater. The entertainment centers offer a wide variety of activities. They even have an adults only center with a nice work out area. Tennis ,golf, swimming pools, so many activities available.

Most comfortable bed ever had outside of home! Only loses a star because the slide we were so excited for was sporadically open & not sure why, there was no cell service, and it was pretty secluded from everything. Having a minor back at home states away not having cell service was an issue for me but might be ideal for others. Would definitely stay again all things considered.

The room was huge (it was a large, 1bdrm), was equipped with a kitchen, living room area, large bathroom, a Jacuzzi tub and a great porch. The hubby loved going on the porch at night, sitting in the rocking chair and just relaxing. It's really tucked away, so it's quiet. Depending on which room/building you get, parking can be an issue (at this building it wasn't, but at the others it can be a bit of a nightmare). There are a couple of restaurants on site that close early (the Pizza Hut Express closes at 9), so if you're a night owl, you'll have to hunt down something, but there are good places within 15 minutes of the resort. It seems to be more geared towards people with a daytime schedule.

The room was okay. I expected more luxury for the price we paid to stay. First room wasn't ready as stated, so this is the 2nd assignment. Perk - close to pool and 10 to 15 minute walk to fitness center. The basement room has poor wifi and the Welk needs to pay attention to small details like batteries working in their remote controls
