Motel 6 El Reno, OK

Everything was very clean, the room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was hot. The polite, helpful desk clerk was very gracious when I asked for another pillow for the king bed (it only came with 3), and we didn't mind at all that there was no breakfast & the coffee was in the lobby -- the great rate was more important to us.

Stayed one night Nov 5th. Two adults and a cat and small dog. Location was safe. The employee at check-in was wonderful. Had a comfortable stay except I unfortunately have to mention we encountered bugs twice in one night. Roaches around the refrigerator area and weird little white bugs under a trash can. We reported it to the front desk and they said a maintenance worker would take care of it.

Positive: Very spacious room very clean Negative: There was a brown recluse spider in the bathroom other than that the room and hotel was awesome

Rooms looked decent. Climate control worked and they had a good selection of TV channels and strong WiFi. However I'm unable to give a strong rating. It took 4 yes FOUR attempts to get into my room after checking in. Accidents happen but this took me an extra half hour to get into my/a room late at night, loaded with bags, running back and forth ready to topple over with said luggage. FINALLY got in and got to eat my Chinese food I was excited about, my only food of the day traveling. I had a box of rice with leftovers that was open with my silverware tucked in it while I sorted through my things. I go back to my rice a bit later and A COCKROACH CLAIMED IT FOR HIMSELF! We stayed one night in a room with a king sized bed. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning in the room kept us cool. Our room was on the first floor (close to an exit and near the pool) but was quiet regardless. Although the room was a little on the small side, it was perfectly clean and honestly met all of our needs. There was also plenty of space to take our dog outside and the grounds were kept up nicely. We would definitely stay again.
