Motel 6 Dayton, OH - Englewood

Convenient location Delay checking in as no one at front desk (15 minutes). Door lock/latch didn’t work properly, non smoking room but smelled terrible. I’m frequently traveling with a lot of hotel stays and this was really poor I’m sorry to say. I cannot recommend.

Housekeeping at this hotel is very poor especially if you're staying in the extended stay part paying by the week your room is supposed to get serviced twice a week I've gotten service maybe three times in the 3 weeks I've been here at one time I had to do it by myself. Today I gave the housekeeper the towels and asked her to get me clean towels when I came back I only had one bath towel and one was that the housekeeper was given all the towels from my room when I had to go get more

Positive: 209-Clean comfortable bed ,cold air ,many premium channels ,fridge ,close to restaurants ,friendly desk clerk, low price Negative: Smoking room ,loose sink faucet ,old tub faucet ,no shampoo ,ceiling plaster missing

The price and location is ideal!! Hands down the best aspects. Staff is okay. If you don't ask for toiletries, linen etc, they Will Not see about it daily otherwise. Overpopulated two weeks we've been here. No bugs, no junkies... However, I did have to purchase a mini heater because they refuse to properly fix it.

The first room appeared clean. Pulled the comforter back and laid down....my arm and shirt was wet. Smelled it, definite urine. The mattress was drenched. They had put a clean sheet on but the mattress was definitely soaked in urine. Gross! Had a hard time making the front desk guy understand what I was trying to say, but he finally got it and moved us to another room. Second room was clean, even the bed. The rooms all look like they were last decorated in the 70's but they were clean, except for the mattress they had overlooked while cleaning.
