Motel 6 Columbia, SC - Fort Jackson Area

Before I booked I read the reviews and was a little bit skeptical about staying here but I ended up booking anyway and I’m glad I did. The staff made my stay so much better than what it would have been. Pointed me to so many great stores and places to eat. The room was nice and was recently renovated so I was extremely happy with my stay. Absolutely book with Motel 6!

By far I am super impressed with the service I received and my room compared to the online reviews from before I don’t see here. This place was beautiful even though they’re undergoing renovations it’s Finally look like this place is open. A good time at Motel 6 with a great manager named Gary this motel is simple but really memorable. After a long day of traveling, walking into a clean, cozy room with cool air and soft beds feels like a relief. You grab snacks, turn on a movie, and just relax without worrying about anything. Maybe you laugh with family, order pizza, or sit outside in the evening air talking about random things. Its about comfort, feeling safe, and enjoying the little moments together.

Positive: I expected a lot but when arrived at the hotel…. The staff have me a room and the whole hallway stink like cigarette got inside the room the cover for the toilet sit was on top of the hand sink it was disappointed to find your room under this condition. Negative: Unfortunately I stayed 3nights and every day no one came to clean the room I was very disappointed!!!! I will never book a room in this hotel… I’m sorry but that was my experience!!!

I have been on many trips and this was the worst motel I have ever used. It was disgustingly dirty. There weren’t pillowcases on the pillow pillows. There was 50 stains on the walls. The toilet wasn’t bolted down. They did not give us towels. There wasn’t even a trashcan in the room or a closet. The vents were hanging on two screws with the freezing air coming through. We were harassed by someone who stays there screamed and cussed at us it was just the worst experience of any motel y’all do not go. There’s not even a smoke alarm in the room rooms do not go to the motel. Everyone there should be fired and it should be tore down.
