Motel 6 Clovis, NM

I stayed here during my first visit to this small town. There are only a few hotel options, so I chose this one. When I arrived, I asked the man at the front (an Indian man) about the price. He said $65, but online the price showed $49 through Super.com, so I decided to book online while standing outside. While I was booking, two police cars stopped next to me because someone from the hotel had called the cops. The officers were polite and professional; they quickly saw I wasn’t doing anything wrong and left. When I went back to check in, the same man acted like he didn’t know anything and asked why the police came. He also asked if I was alone and said I had to pay extra even though my online booking already included two adults. He charged a $50 deposit and said $45 would be refunded.

Interiors of rooms freshly renovated with new flooring. Had very comfortable bed. Good tv with large selection of stations. Outstanding internet service. Refrigerator and microwave in room. Brand new air conditioning systems which have optional fan only setting. New electronic touch system. To me for the price there is no better value in Clovis. Exterior is a little rough but inside the rooms are very good.

I just wanted to thank this hotel for hosting me for the week. The night service employee was great 👍

We paid for our room online through booking. When we went to check in they were trying to charge us again for the room. We refused to pay again and we were sent away without a place to sleep for the weekend. We had to call the bank and dispute the charge. It was a nightmare.

I stayed here for a few days and upon arrival to my room located upstairs I could get a downstairs one for some apparent reason.... anyways I see that it hasn't been swept or mopped and the towels weren't the cleanest.. I didn't get room service the whole weekend due to short staff but weren't notified about this. Seemed like I was the only customer there other than the people that live there and work on cars all day/night very odd. I would not stay at any motel 6 again.. Not the first bad experience but certainly the last at this motel. Hope this helpsb future travelers there are other options!
