Motel 6 Anchorage, AK - Midtown

Perfectly clean room, linens, microwave and refridgerator. Comfortable bed. Friendly, efficient, helpful staff. Convenient location. Great price. Pets stay free. All the things that really matter get 5 stars. The only reason for my 4 star rating is this is a basic, clean, comfortable but not luxurious hotel. We will definitely be return guests.

The airport shuttle was both fast and free. The driver was kind. The staff at the hotel was personable and offered help and advice as needed. The hotel was close to the airport, clean, and it felt safe. We were only there for the night and left first thing the next morning so if any amenities were provided we did not make use of them. The beds were comfortable. The only compliant I have is that the wifi was kinda crappy.

Positive: nothing Negative: no black out curtains and smelled of animal urine

The room is .. a room, nothing special. They have NO breakfast. For $130 (that's the discount for locals) with a $150 security deposit you don't see back for 5-7 DAYS, you'd expect there to at least be some damn fruit or something. Front staff is extremely pleasant.

Clean rooms, a slightly older hotel with some wear issues. Staff was amazing, Claudia at the front desk was an absolute joy, she was helpful, friendly and smiling and made each morning just a little bit better.
