McDougall Alaska Fishing Lodge

My husband and I had the best time fishing here for a week! It was the best way to experience Alaska and be able to go out on a boat every day and be in nature. The fishing was so fun (this is coming from a very inexperienced fisherman) and our guide Grady was so nice and helpful. He took us out whenever we wanted to fish and made sure we had a great time out there every day. The people at McDougall Lodge were so friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing and the lodge was really cozy too. We definitely want to come back!

What can I say. It was a great experience. You can only get to it by plane and then catch a boat for a 10 minute ride to the lodge. Although we did not spend the night the accommodations were great. Single cabins and a lodge along with a dinning hall. Food is buffet style and you get plenty of it. If you want a unique experience and love to fish this is the place to go.

Had an awesome time at McDougall Lodge this past June. The staff was amazing! Jason was a great host, very accommodating and just a pleasure to chat with. Our Guide Grady was a blast. Taught us a lot and got us into some good holes. Dave the cook had a spectacular feast every night and Joplin the cleaning lady was fantastic! Great crew, great vibe, great accommodations. Would absolutely go back again!

Our family's first trip to Alaska and we were blessed to spend it at McDougall! Our kids has a blast fishing for the first time and playing on the river banks. The lodging is comfy and you better be ready to be fead well. Every meal is homemade . We would recommend this outfit over again.

The lodge and accommodations were great. The people and guides were the great(Bill, you are the best of all !!!!) The food was great and plentiful. And best of all the fishing was top notch. Everything is supplied, just show up for a great time of pure fishing with good people!
