Hotel Captain Cook

The rooms are clean and comfortable, the bathroom small but efficient. In-room wifi performs poorly and TV technology doesn't easily allow you to watch your own content - you'll need your own HDMI cable or Chromecast device. Staff is wonderful, facilities are very clean, gym and restaurants are above average. Close to top downtown restaurants.

This is the dirtiest and worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The carpet and sofa felt very dirty after a long time. The next day we asked to clean the room, but the waiter evaded and said that their room was not cleaned every day. It was the first time I heard about it, and then two bath towels were sent as room service. My friend's room carpet was full of hair that had not been cleaned at all, but he lied and said it had been cleaned. The shower gel and shampoo were completely empty, and the next day there was no hot water shower. My friend called and his attitude was very perfunctory. It was a terrible experience. I don't know if it was the hotel's problem or if Ctrip lowered its requirements for the partner. Recently, the hotel experience booked from Ctrip has not been very pleasant

Located right in downtown Anchorage. Rooms were very clean, modern amenities keeping with the hotel theme. Several restaurants on site whether you wanted a sit down @ Fletcher’s or coffee and a quick bite @ Chubby’s. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend.

I am so very thankful for the staff at Captain Cook. Amos, the concierge, was phenomenal. The front desk, the bellhops, the maintenance, and doorman; I cannot emphasize how wonderful the staff was during my stay. I was in town during a very stressful and emotional time in my life for the two and half weeks they made me feel welcome and made sure my every need was met. ||I may have stayed at nicer hotels, and eaten at finer restaurants but none of that mattered because this hotel's staff was exemplary! I highly recommend this as the place to stay due to the staff interaction, politeness, and attention.

I loved this hotel, the rooms were so nice and clean and the reception area was so nice. The food was so good and on some days there was available shopping where people would come set up vendors for you to buy from, they had a lot of nice cool things! In the winter they have the annual gingerbread house village that the kitchen provides is it so fun to go look at I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.
