Montana Snowbowl

1st time and for the conditions so far this season, it was awesome. Definitely not a beginner mountian. If you intermediate to advanced, it's great.

Snowbowl is open for the summer! Check their website for hours and prices. I took the Grizzly lift up and it was $16.00 for an adult. It was a delightful ride up the two person lift. I chose to walk down and the views are incredible.

Long intermediate runs, plenty of challenging terrain. If you'd like to step into a time machine and experience the essence of alpine fun, here's your spot. Easy access from Missoula, reasonably maintained gravel road access. On hill amenities are limited, but you'll come back for the vibes.

Snowbowl is an absolute gem. If you are expecting Big Sky, then just stay home. This is a local, classic Montana ski hill with massive steep runs, and well maintained snow. I ski all the time at Showdown, and this reminds me a lot of there. The people were super friendly and helpful for tickets and rentals. The pizza was spectacular as well. There were some negative reviews that I saw prior to coming here, but I think many of them were unfounded, and wrong. I would say that you should at least be an intermediate skier, but they do have a lot of variety runs and you'll find something you like. I'll definitely be back again soon

We skied here with the family and it was perfect. The low key atmosphere completes the experience. It’s like one has stepped back in time. They have a bustling bar with good food, warming structure off the trail in the need a break and a great little A frame cafe-all so cozy and the food is affordable. We visited from Utah where our ski slopes have been taken over by greedy capitalists. Our ski day at Snowbowl was a perfect family gathering place where great memories were made. Bonus…. free parking.
