Mitten Flats

There are definitely some nice things about this rental. We enjoyed the location very much. Sadly, the mattresses and pillows were uncomfortable so we bought an air mattress to get through our four night stay. Including some soft pillow options would have made a huge difference.

We had an amazing stay at Mitten Flats in Ludington! From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and spotless. The home was incredibly clean—every room was tidy, well-maintained, and thoughtfully decorated. You can tell the owners take a lot of pride in the property. One of the absolute highlights was the hot tub—what a treat! After a day of exploring Ludington and relaxing on the beach, soaking in the hot tub under the stars was the perfect way to unwind. It was clean, warm, and super relaxing—definitely one of our favorite features of the stay. The location was quiet and peaceful, yet close enough to everything we wanted to do. We loved our stay at Mitten Flats! The main house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It was a huge plus having multiple unit options, perfect for a group getaway or family vacation. The location is great and close to the beach and local attractions but still peaceful and quiet. Highly recommend.

We are beyond grateful for how incredibly accommodating The Mitten Flats has been. My husband needed a comfortable and convenient place to stay during his clinical rotations at a nearby hospital, and the experience exceeded all expectations. The owner was not only quick to respond, but also exceptionally kind and understanding—graciously allowing us to secure a unit even as the busy season approached. The apartment itself was spotless, thoughtfully furnished, and had everything he needed to feel right at home for the month. We truly appreciate the warm hospitality and couldn't be more thankful!

I just had the pleasure of staying in one of the Mitten Flats units for around a month (April 2025). The unit was is great condition with recently finished renovations to the bathrooms and kitchen. The appliances were new and in great shape. I stayed in a two bed, two bath unit that had more than enough space for decent size family to stay. The location of Mitten Flats is also unbeatable. A two minute walk from the beach as well as a local putt putt/skate park/playground makes it an amazing place for families as well as individual renters. Its also within walking distance from the bars and restaurants downtown which are a great time! Lastly, you wont find a better host than Todd. He is attentive and quick to respond to any question or concern you may have. He was also very reasonable and
