Misty Mountain Lodge

We had a great stay at Misty Mountain Lodge over Thanksgiving. We stayed in the one-bedroom unit, and it was clean, cozy, and well equipped. The fireplace was a really nice touch, and the full kitchen made our stay easy and comfortable. The location was perfect. There was plenty to do around town, and we loved sitting by the fire pits while it snowed. We enjoyed a snowball fight and the short walk to downtown to see the city lights parade. Essex Park is a beautiful town, and this lodge was a wonderful place to stay. We would definitely come back!!!

We stayed here because it is only 1 1/2 blocks from downtown. It is a cute Lodge with a real wood fireplace. Their customer service gal, Tammy was so helpful.

Misty Mountain is an absolute gem of a property! My wife and I were trying to find a great place in Estes Park to have our wedding party along with close friends and family stay for the weekend of our wedding in mid August. I found Misty Mountain at a perfect time as they were finalizing renovations on their entire property. Sam and Tammy were incredibly communicative, flexible, and willing to address all questions we threw their way. They even invited us to tour the property in the spring ahead of our wedding this summer to see everything in person and we loved it. As someone who works in hospitality and travel, this is the exact type of place I look for when booking for groups or for myself. We were able to book the entire property which has a mix of about 20 condo and hotel style rooms

We stayed two nights here and enjoyed our stay! The location is incredible as it is walkable to downtown (right next to the main public parking lot!). We stayed in Unit 3 (single queen) - it was cozy & clean with a fireplace and kitchen. The heat worked well and there was a comfy memory foam topper on the bed. The staff was very nice, providing clean towels, and she picked up a sentimental item I dropped in the parking lot. They also had fire pits going at night!

Amazing stay with a beautiful view. We couldn’t have asked for a better location. Near downtown, cute shops, coffee shops, restaurants, and lots of hiking options. The room was cozy, and relaxing by the fire with a movie at the end of the day was the perfect touch.
