Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Georgetown

Excellent location. Walking distance from National restaurants and quick grocery. Room, bed, AC/Heat was comfortable. Breakfast was a disappointment. Mostly packaged food. Coffee was good 👍. When I spoke with the front desk they said we are a basic amenity facility.

Thankful for the flexibility this hotel offers! They allowed early check in starting at 7am, if there is an available/clean room of course, for the small price of $20. The location is great and it provides easy access to the interstate. The rooms have been renovated and are well lit plus have a modern vibe. The one of the issue I had during my 6 day stay at this hotel was the advertisement of a full continental breakfast... it is more of a grab and go breakfast. Disappointed to not have had the selection of eggs and bacon, or biscuits and gravy. Also I wish the rooms had a microwave, instead you have to pack up/bring your food to the downstairs/main floor breakfast area to warm it up. Overall though, the value for the price paid was exceptional, and I would stay here again :)

A great place to stay for low budget. Service is great and rooms are clean. The location is ok. If you're looking for a 5 star experience, this isn't it. If you're looking for a good place to stay without breaking the bank, this is it.

Positive: The room and bathroom room were very clean, though small (micro). The bed was super comfy. We were there only one night, so it worked for us. Negative: No coffee in the room. Soft drink vending machine didn’t work. No ice except on first floor, maybe due to renovations being made.

The entire building wreaked of something I would compare to stale cigarette smoke, and cheap cleaning products. It is a very budget friendly hotel, so I didn't expect much to begin with. I stayed here twice on two separate occasions during a trip. My first stay I had a poor Wi-Fi connection, and most of the day was sounds of the workers doing a renovation echoing down the hall. The second stay, I was on a different floor, and the Wi-Fi worked great, and no renovation noises. Overall, the staff was friendly. The room was clean and had the basic amenities. Breakfast had some hot items but was fairly limited. That odor was just overwhelming though.
