Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Dover

My husband and I stayed here on a last minute decision as we were traveling back home to SC after taking care of business in PA. The room was very fitting, we slept very well the beds and pillows are very comfortable, the room was spotless and very clean as well as the bathroom room. There were no odors or bugs. It was very quiet and peaceful. The staff was exceptional we enjoyed talking with the young man that checked us in he is very friendly and polite as well as professional as well as the young lady that checked us out that morning. And my security deposit was returned the same day as check out. Thank you it was a pleasure visiting whenever we visit again we will be sure to book a stay with you.

I spend a ton of time in hotels...and usually I can find something to complain about. BUT this Microtel, I cant say anything but great things!!!!!||Spent 15 total days......Bright, roomie, clean.....not even an issue in the bathroom. Location is perfect. Staff is great. Do not be swayed by its name, this is a great hotel to stay for business and please.

Positive: The room was very spacious with couch. Negative: Yes. The TV access to sports station very poor no NFL football on holiday stay.

I really like the fact that it was across from McDonald's and down the street from a Wawa. the staff was very friendly and checked me in as soon as I got there. The light breakfast had fresh fruit oatmeal, bagels cream cheese butter jelly, peanut butter fruit loops, Cheerios, milk DKF and regular coffee period the room was very clean. I also like that.The floor had been vacuumed and the bed was extremely comfortable.I would definitely stay here again if I had to stay in dover overnight.The price was very good. We noticed that we were about 10 minutes late before we would leave the room. By 11:10 staff was already at the door however, they were kind enough to ask us. Do we need some more time? Which I thought was very generous.

The hotel was perfectly located, close to Dover AFB. It is very clean and the mattresses were great. FYI the dispenser by the bathroom sink has lotion and not soap and is labeled accordingly. Just a heads up. The AC was circling on and off all night despite being set to low and not Auto. So earplugs are good to have.
