Dover Garden Suites

Great place to stay especially if you enjoy peace and privacy. I have been raising my girls here safely and happily for over a year now and wouldn’t want to be anywhere else in Delaware. It’s a great little community feel and the amenities including the marvelous garden are just more than I could ask for. The owners Jim and Nan and the manager Brian are just so nice and accommodating. You really couldn’t ask for a better place to be, location is right near everything while being private enough to feel like you’re far away. Love this place and hope to be here for as long as i’m blessed to be.

Last year we decided to stay for 3 days on week of Valentines. The staff was beyond hospitable. They give you a tour of the room and the premises. The customer service on the phone could use some work. However I didn't let the impression keep me from really seeing it in person. The face of the hotel that day was so nice. I still feel the type of hotel should have more professional uniform for the first or lasting impression. However they work very hard on the other parts of the premises. It shows. I don't know what these other reviews experienced because I have had great ones. The garden is so beautiful and filled with amenities that other inns don't usually supply. unless you are at a resort. if they had a pool i could only imagine the potential. Go stay there little peace in our little D

Had a 7 week stay while in between houses.Very nice and clean with a private entrance.Would definitely stay again if need be.Other than providing an actual stove, it was fully furnished for a comfortable stay. Also it was within walking distance to grocery and convenience stores.

This is a beautiful hotel. The rooms are amazing and the garden is incredible. I've stayed in nice hotels all over the world, but the Dover Garden Suites is hands down the best. I like it so much I'm thinking of coming back just so I can stay here again. I can't imagine why anyone would rate this hotel poorly, and Jim and Nan are EXTREMELY nice. I have a sneaking suspicion that the two bad reviewers are some of "those" people. You know the ones. Take my advice and stay here. I can't say enough good things about it.

My husband and I stayed at the Dover Garden Suites during the weekend of August 26th first time. It is the best kept secret in Dover. The Rooms were absolutely beautiful it was a mini house. They provided you with snacks and drinks and they come each day to replenish them. The gardens were beautiful and it was the most relaxing weekend. The owners Jim and Jirapha were so friendly and really cater to the guests. They want to make your stay a memorable one. The Inn Keeper Brenda was outstanding, anytime you called her and or needed anything she would come to room. We are definitely coming back to the best place to stay in Dover.
