Holiday Inn Express & Suites Dover

Thank you for making our stay wonderful. The excellent customer service that we received was exceptional from all staff members that we met. Everyone greeting with with a Smile and a cheerful Hello, Good Morning or Good Evening. Our rooms were clean, fresh towels and bed linen and when service was needed professional attention was given. When one of our rooms heating unit wasn't operating properly, they immediately sent someone to inspect it and the next morning it was replaced. The dining area was clean, well stocked and the food was warm at all times. The Delaware Crew will return.

On a recent road trip I made a few reservations on the same day. I forgot I had reserved a king suite with eating area in Dover. We walked in and I was happily surprised to see the size of the room as well as the separate sleeping area. The room was clean, modern in it's decor, but it did lack some extra lighting. The bedroom only had one light near one side of the bed. No nightlight in the bathroom, and the sitting area lacked a bit of lighting too. The couch was not all that comfortable. The bed was very comfortable, the pillows, not my preference. The bathroom was clean but the wallpaper needed to be removed, replaced. A lot of the pattern is gone. The shower had a rain head and I hoped for a decent amount of water pressure, but it was not to be. I like to see shiny faucets in a hote

We stayed at the Holiday Inn for a lacrosse tournament and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. First off, the location is superb—there’s a McDonald’s right out front, plus Raising Cane’s and plenty of other restaurants, fast-food options, and stores just steps away. Super convenient for a busy tournament weekend!|The lobby is huge, clean, and very accommodating. It ended up being the perfect spot for some team bonding time. The whole staff was wonderful and incredibly helpful. When the girls started getting a little bored, we asked the front desk if they had any playing cards—sure enough, they did, and that kept the team entertained for hours. We also asked about a water machine, and they kindly handed us three bottles of water right away.|Breakfast in the morning was complime

Traveling with three adults and one dog, we had a comfortable one night stay in a double queen mini-suite which was worth the extra money because of the added space. All staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms and public areas were clean and beds were comfortable. A jar of dog biscuits at the front desk made us feel that our dog was welcome. On a busy stretch of a four lane road, but the hotel sits back from the road and was quiet. Room darkening curtains and a safety bar in the shower were nice extras.

We had an amazing stay, and a huge part of that was thanks to Alicia. She went above and beyond to take care of me and my family, making sure we were comfortable and felt genuinely welcomed. Her kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail truly stood out. Employees like her make a hotel memorable. Thank you for such great service!
