Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Dickinson

Don’t waste your money or time on this hotel. Spend a little more for something decent. First room we were given was not very clean and the second one (room 103), the heat wasn’t working. Too late at night to ask for a third room so ended up sleeping in our hoodies. The staff working seemed very disinterested.

Driving from WI to MT...Dickinson was my first stop. I use this chain frequently, however, this particular one is not up to their usual standards, in my opinion. There were some cleaning issues and flippant attitude from management (at first.) Furniture was not clean (large stains on sofa cushions) and trash left in drawers. I asked for a different room and was moved. I did get some needed rest tho, and had a small breakfast from their offered buffet. (also not up to Wyndham stds.) Owner needs to step it up a bit.

Positive: Inexpensive Negative: Poor breakfast. Only apple juice. No eggs at breakfast. Only 3 hangers in room. Unusable, loose electrical outlets. No USB ports.

After reading reviews we decided to give the place a try. We did not have the same experience as others. I would not recommend this place. It feels dirty. Only one employee has any customer service skills. The fridge in our room froze everything we brought including milk for our son. The front desk lady look disgusted at me when I tried to see if she had access to four ounces of milk. She wouldn’t get off her phone and had zero customer service skills. All she said was it’s not morning. Terrible experience all around. The outside side door doesn’t unlock easy with a key card. Spend the extra money and stay elsewhere.

I am so grateful to have a hotel service as nice and kind as the experience I had here, thank you- to Veronica! Also, Maureen housekeeper, kind as can be. Had a breakfast and nice stay!
