Candlewood Suites Dickinson by IHG

Our stay was a mess. Our hotel IDK flooded. We had to go across the road to ANOTHER hotel. Unloaded everything again. There was a line to even get a room. Waiting tired as sh*t there was a young gal who knew why were all tghere and crabby. asked us if we needed anything she was trying help us all. I kinda had a sour attitude by now and me and co-worker were pretty rude to her. Didn't want to do this hotel jumping crap. She asked us again while we wait if she could get or help us with anything or something. She then offered to give us a small tour while we waited. Us and another dude went with too see what was like a whole 1 bed apt. We walked in and that... gotta admit pretty sweet. We were way impressed and that other dude made us laugh how impressed he was. LOL Well long story short....

My husband and I found ourselves in need of a room at the last minute, and the hotel staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming. A lovely young lady with red hair came from the back to assist us in getting everything organized so we could settle in for the night. She truly transformed our chaotic evening into a much more pleasant experience. We had a wonderful night's sleep, and as we departed, the same wonderful lady wished us well on our journey. From now on, we will always choose to stay here.

The staff were over the top helpful! Everything was clean and quality! I'd definitely stay again! They made bringing my dog fun, they had treats and waste bags. The lady who checked me in was so kind and friendly, and the two at the desk the next morning were as well!

Hotel was very clean and well maintained. The room was spacious and comfortable. We never heard a sound from another patron or staff while staying here. Gym was the best equipped of any similar priced hotel we've stayed in. Good selection of dumbbells up to 50 lb, cable machines, and cardio equipment. Easy parking. Staff was friendly and volunteered helpful information as well as made sure we were aware of rough weather coming in later in the day since we were going to a nearby National Park. Perfect stay, no issues at all, would stay again without hesitation.

I typically enjoy staying at this Candlewood when I’m in town, but I’ve experienced two serious issues this week. When I first checked in, I was given another guest’s room and walked in while they were inside. Five nights later, someone else was given my room and tried to enter while I was inside — fortunately, I had the door latched. I was told the issue was due to the computer system not updating, but with it happening twice to me, I think it’s a little ridiculous.
