Customer Reviews
I’ve stayed in parking lots, race tracks, all sorts of campgrounds, so I’m no campground princess, but this is a whole different level of gross. Spots are positioned close enough that if you stretch a bit, you can pick your neighbor’s nose. Our neighbor had the added bonus of having his sewer hose attached to his camper and just laying on the ground, contents spilling into our campsite. The entire campground had a garbage/sewage smell. Don’t expect to socialize outside at your site because picnic tables and fire pits are not included. The office wasn’t open the entire time we were there, so I can’t comment on the inside, but looked about as run down as the rest of the campground. Even the Dropbox was “not in working order.” It’s a first come, first serve campground, but we had to pass by m
The campground is a full hook only. Most of the people there are long term residents. Roads are rutted; Bathrooms are cleaned and maintained but showers do not have seats, anywhere; residents allow dogs to defecate and pee in other sites, leaving the results. Not a great place to stay.
Stayed for a month and for $500 includes W/S/E/G Saw nobody use possible laundry facilities. There are bathrooms and showers being used. Office open 7.5hrs a week. Nice dog park 1 mile away. Town close. Nothing for children. Not real noisy. Wide roads.
Bathrooms are clean but showers don’t have a chair. People with bad balance will have problems. The camp is mainly long term so the camp spots are set up as small yards. Host was helpful and nice. Grounds are nice and quite. River adjoins the property, however no place to dip you toes; banks are steep. It worked for a stop over with shower. Call the phone number to get the attendant because they do not man the office.
Nice easy spot to get to close to I94 but far enough away and right on the river so it's nice and quiet. Easy pull through sites all with water, sewer, 30 and 50 amp services. The sites are very open gravel parking with no picnic tables or fire pits. The bathrooms and showers look really nice and have modern tile but the showers have very low water pressure and luke warm water. Not a big deal though because of the full services sites. Really friendly and helpful staff. A bit pricy for $30 a night but they have discounts for longer stays. Lots of long term campers here.
