Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Bossier City

This hotel was a very pleasant surprise — and in hindsight, I probably should have expected it given the name. The room was truly micro-sized, which definitely caught me off guard at first. That said, once I took a moment to check it out, I actually didn’t mind it at all. The room was very clean, well maintained, and had everything you need, especially if you’re traveling solo. The bed was comfortable and made for a great night’s sleep. The bathroom was a nice size for the room and featured a walk-in glass shower, which was excellent and very relaxing after a long day. The front desk staff were very helpful during both check-in and check-out, making it a smooth, simple in-and-out experience. Staff was not friendly. Did not welcome or thank us for being reward members. The walls are super thin and had noise problems with neighbors. Staff doesn't know the meaning of "hotel quiet time". Water pressure and temperature are not good. No place to put your shampoo/soap in shower and none provided on wall. Shower very slick! Beds need step ladder to get in.

The woman working at the desk very kindly turned off the TV and let us have our family meal together at the table in the lobby before we checked into our reservation. It was so kind, and allowed our children to relax and have some normalcy whilst on the long road trip! Thank you ! The room was perfect for a one night stay, safe parking lot.

Positive: Nothing Negative: Everything. There were Mushrooms growing out of the carpet!!! Whole building had a foul smell and the front desk lady was polishing her nails at the counter. Beds and towels were not clean.

There was a roach in our bathroom, there were hairs all in our beds, and the breakfast was awful. There was barely anything and absolutely no protein options. Not to mention that the walls were super thin so we could totally hear our neighbor’s tv. The only plus side of this hotel was that the shower water got super hot.
