Microtel Inn and Suites by Wyndham Prattville Montgomery

I am currently staying in room 201. It is almost 1:00 a.m., and an alarm went off inside my room so loudly that my right ear is still ringing. It startled me awake and I had no idea what was happening. I tried calling the front desk from the room phone, but it is not working. When I attempted to call reception, the line was busy. I had to use my cell phone and call repeatedly until someone answered. The receptionist explained that the alarm goes off when someone in the hotel is smoking and that this is why the noise was triggered. However, I now have no reassurance that it won’t happen again in the middle of the night. Additionally, I noticed the bathroom floor was dirty behind the door, and the conditioner container was completely empty. The price of this hotel was higher than other b

The staff was super friendly and helpful. Check in was smooth and easy. The place is conveniently located. Overall, the room was super clean, bed was comfy, and the place was nice and quiet. This place is all new, so it’s super modern. Great spaces in the room! Plenty of room for my bags and to sit and enjoy my morning meditation before packing up to leave.

This hotel was spotless and had such a welcoming, friendly environment. Ms. Faye was absolutely exceptional at check-in and check-out, and the entire staff showed top-tier customer service. Everyone went above and beyond to make the stay pleasant. Highly recommend! My wife and I were traveling and after spending a few days in a 50 year old but highly rated hotel, it was truly a treat to find a new hotel to stay in. The hotel was clean and you could still that it was new. The front desk was extremely accommodating when checked in and out. The breakfast is typical hotel food however the was hot and good with plenty of seating. Everything was very clean. We will stay again. I feel they deserved a 5/5.

My experience at check-in on 02/12/2026 at 10:30PM was extremely disappointing. The front desk staff member was rude, dismissive, and unhelpful throughout the entire process. Instead of assisting professionally, her tone and attitude made me feel like I was inconveniencing her simply by checking in. Her attitude and tone needs to be addressed by management whom I spoke with concerning this matter. “She made the statement that she had been there a year and if she was to check me in that she would be fired .
