avid hotel Prattville - Montgomery North, an IHG Hotel

This is newer “designer” brand of IHG hotels and their interior design is impressive! The room was very clean, neat and beds were comfortable. The hot and cold breakfast was awesome! They had potatoes, egg items, oatmeal, muffins, bread items, cereals and meat. It was right next to I65 but still very quiet and very safe. We could not hear the traffic noise at all. Plenty of free parking. A trampoline park was nearby. Restaurants and shopping centers were about 5-8 minutes drive.

Divya is the lady that checked me in the 1st night and she is a very rude lady and should not be working there!!! Her immediate response to people was nasty and rude. I thought she was just being racist, which is questionable, but I was informed she is ALWAYS like that for day shift and I’m unsure why she is still there. If they get rid of her the staff rating would be soooo much better. 1st stay here in a double queen room the pipes were banging like someone was trying to get something out the wall in the bathroom only so you had to make sure the bathroom door was closed at all times alllll day. The beds were comfy as well as the pillow and beds were clean. The bathroom was a spot clean and you can tell, smh. 2nd stay here I was in a king bedroom. Was pretty decent again until you get t

We were on our way to north Florida and were ready to stop for the night. I had never stayed at an Avid Hotel but wanted to try it. We had a wonderful experience here at this one. Divya at the front desk was very nice and helpful to us, and I appreciated her so much. The decor is modern and colorful and has all the amenities that we needed to make our stay very comfortable. Nice selection for breakfast and snacks in the lobby, nice fitness center, I didn't have any issues with their wifi, and there are several restaurants within minutes, or even walking distance, for dinner. Another feature that I truly love about this hotel chain.....you know how the "Do Not Disturb" signs are ALWAYS falling off the door handle every time you go in and out? These genius folks created small magnets

Overall my stay was pretty decent! The hotel is up to date. The bed is amazing and oh goodness the pillows are like sleeping on clouds. It is very comfortable. The only issue I had is the room was very small for the price I paid and I had someone above me who stomped all night long. Breakfast was not prepared in time, which is not a big deal but I wanted my kids to eat something before leaving but they were able to grab a yogurt and muffin. The breakfast choices were okay. I would recommend overall. Not for a long term stay but a day or two you could get away with.

Not What I Expected!!! The staff at this hotel were very polite and welcoming, which I truly appreciated. The rooms, while small, were relatively clean overall, and the beds were quite comfortable. However, I was disappointed with the condition of the floor in our room—it appeared not to have been mopped in some time, as my children's feet became noticeably dirty after walking around barefoot. The bathroom also left much to be desired; there was visible dirt in the corners, and the toilet paper holder was barely attached to the wall. Additionally, the air conditioning did not function properly, making our stay uncomfortable. Unfortunately, due to these issues, I would not stay here again or recommend this hotel to others
