McElmo Inn

Stayed here while my family and I visited the four corners area. Very close to Mesa Verde and my family had a great time checking out all the sites to see within a close distance to the Inn. The house itself was beyond wonderful. Our family had enough room and we loved how there was a lot of land and the kids had plenty of space to go outside and play. The hot tub was the greatest thing to come back to at the end of the day and relax in.

Had a great time at McElmo Inn this past week with my friends and family. Great hiking, mountain biking, and Mesa Verde National Park all close to the Inn. The Inn is located on a nice piece of land against the McElmo creek less than 5 miles from the Main St. area of Cortez. It's close enough to grab anything you might need, but far enough that you feel like you're getting away. The pond on the property is great for fishing and swimming; definitely a plus for children. The inside of the house is well suited for larger groups. There is plenty of seating in the dining room area as well as the living room. Hope to make it back to the Inn in the future. I went here on vacation with my family. The place is gorgeous and was a wonderful place to relax at. We are a large group and there was enough room for our family. There is so many places to see and activities to do just a drive from the inn. The winery next door was beautiful. Mesa verde was such a unique trip. This was a great vacation getaway. You can't go wrong with all the adventures you can go on in this area.

Great place to stay. I didn't take many pictures but the kids loved the pond (so did the adults). Kids swam, we caught a bunch of crawdads, some little sunfish and a couple cat fish, even this little snake. Great place to relax and enjoy!

Great place and great host. Relaxing and enjoyable stay. Can't go wrong staying here. Thanks for having us, sorry for the noise. Some of us are not good neighbors but it was me;)
