Mayberry Campground

I lived at this site for a long stint. They are professional. Manage the location well and it is beautiful. I am traveling therapist and really enjoyed living someplace I could walk my dog and felts like a nice hike with lake and grounds beautiful. They had patience with me as I had issues arise and helped me with “extras” I needed during my time there. I appreciate the employees and owner for the kindness and patience. Thank you!

Very nice rv park at a fair price of $55.00. Showers clean and water hot. Easy access from highway. Showers lack any kind of a hook to hang your stuff on. Command Hooks from Home Depot or Lowes would solve that problem.

My wife and I having grown up with the Andy Griffith show compelled us to travel to Mayberry North Carolina staying at the Mayberry Campground was an excellent choice. The Campground itself is situated on a beautiful plot of land and is very picturesque. Our site was a stone's throw away from a lovely pond. We stayed three nights and of course enjoyed going to downtown Mayberry filled with all kinds of delightful history. We would recommend this campground to everyone. The staff especially Sabrina were very friendly and accommodating. We even enjoyed the two ducks that visited us on a daily basis. Our dog had fun chasing the ducks. The campground history around the Siamese twins Chang and Eng was quite interesting

The RV park was very clean and well maintained. We stayed 2 nights and did laundry; there are two laundry areas and both were very clean. The rest room was spotless. There was plenty of room to walk our dog, and a nice play area if you are traveling with children. The site we parked at was level and provided plenty of room for our rv and tow vehicle. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We spent an overnight here, and it was perfect for what we needed! The staff were very friendly, and the campground was clean and well maintained. We had a pull through site that accommodated our 45’ class A + tow vehicle. They had a fabulous dog park, and there is a well stocked camp store. There aren’t any trees for shade, but that made it so easy to maneuver in and out.
