Hampton Inn Mount Airy

Friendliest hotel I have been to in forever. These folks greet each guest and treat them as if they are glad you are there. Front desk printed me a map with directions to my next stop. Clean rooms- great breakfast. Highly recommend

Positive: Cleanliness and location of the hotel. Negative: Bed was not very comfortable. Usually Hampton Inn beds are great and we look forward to sleeping in one. I don't think I could have slept another night in that one.

We very much enjoy the convenience of the location to historic Mount Airy and to many scenic drives. The property was inviting and decorated in an autumn theme which made for a warm atmosphere at breakfast. The breakfast attendant was wonderful. Check in was a busy time but the lady at the desk was so friendly and wonderful at multitasking! Our rooms (2) were immaculate and plenty of towels and wash cloths! We would definitely recommend!

When I made the reservation for 3 days for my son to be able to work his job during the snow, this was my experience. I made the reservation, received email reservation was only one day. I called back to the Hotel and it was fixed for 3 days. My son was staying only for work. He stayed Friday and Saturday night and was waiting on his manager to call Sunday about opening and work. He got the call at 1pm Sunday, he checked out immediately after getting the call. Because his manager didn't call before 11am on Sunday to tell him they wasn't going to be open, he was charged for all of Sunday. I called Sunday to have a supervisor to call me back. I received no call on Sunday or Monday from anybody, so I called back. No supervisor was there Sunday or Monday who could speak with me about

A short drive to "Mayberry" and typical Hampton Inn (quick breakfast, very clean rooms, nicely comfortable and reasonably priced). The bed was so very comfortable! The gym was amazing and brand new. They also had nice vending machines with soft drinks and alcohol. Near gas stations and other typical chain restaurants/shopping. Probably the best hotel to stay in Mount Airy.
