Massanutten Hillside Summit

We are owners, we come to our week every other year at this site. The units are very nice, we don't care for the partial kitchen units because they are dowbstairs on this group of condos. You can hear your neighbors above you. We only stay the week we are upstairs in the full kitchen. They freshen up the properties every few years. New furniture, new paint, new flooring. The resort itself has a lot to offer. Shows, bars, restaurants. They have pools for the summer, an indoor pool if you want when the weather isn't outdoor pool ready. They also have a very nice waterpark, indoor year round which they are expanding, and outdoor during the outdoor pool season. It is an extra fee, but worth it, if you like that kind of thing. BAIT AND SWITCH! Beware of the time share sales people there! The resort itself is pretty nice, but it's the time share sales people that you have got to watch! We were offered a very good deal on a time share, so we bought it! Turns out, the deal we got was not at all like the one we were offered! We were offered a upper/lower Summit float, high season, tru bi annual, no restrictions beginning 2026 for a specific price. After reviewing the contract, it revealed that we were actually sold a Summit float MEDIUM SEASON bi annual WITH RESTRICTIONS! When we asked about the switch, we were told that if we wanted the deal originally offered us, it would cost $6,000-$7,000 more! I consider that a BAIT and SWITCH! Canceled the sale immediately! This spot is close to perfect for mountain lovers, breathtaking views, peaceful location and crisp air... Seeing some of the most friendly deer was such a bonus, we got to watch entire families of deer, feed them and get super close to them almost everyday... Can't wait to comeback he and add to the memories!

This place is the best. The house we rented was beautiful. Very roomy and it came equipped with your everyday supplies like dishes, utensils, towels, etc. The views were spectacular because we were a little higher up, you could see the ski slopes from our back balcony. The deer come right up and eat out your hand. Wonderful experience I cannot wait to go back. It's just 4 hour drive from DE.
