Martha's Vineyard Resort

My wife and I travel a lot and stay in many really nice places but none are as clean as this place. Claudette, the owner, is a very nice, genuine person. We like to have that kind of person in charge when lodging away from home. She's accommodating and shares pertinent information with you to help make your stay better. I don't know what type of mattresses she uses but I can tell you I got the best sleep away from home- ever! Short bus ride to down town Oaks Bluff or 10-15 walking. There's a nice patio to enjoy a cup of coffee on in the morning. Well landscaped. Enjoy continental breakfast every morning.

If you're looking for an exceptionally clean, quaint, and relaxing place on Martha's Vineyard, this Bed and Breakfast is the perfect spot to stay at. ||The location is excellent! It's about a 15 to 20 minute walk into town where there are plenty of restaurants, sightseeing, and shopping. It's also near to the beach and to the dock where you can catch the ferry. If you don't feel like walking, the bus stops right in front of the hotel and runs from early in the morning until around 11:00 p.m. or midnight. I was traveling alone on this vacation and I felt very safe walking or taking the bus.||The owner and innkeeper, Claudette, is a jewel! She was so welcoming and made me feel very comfortable. My husband and I were traveling with our friends and stayed at this bed and breakfast. We were greeted warmly by Claudette the innkeeper. We each had very nice and clean rooms with private baths. This bed and breakfast is very nice, clean, and quiet. A great continental breakfast with good tasty coffee was waiting for us each morning promptly at 7:00am. A comfortable front porch with rocking chairs to relax in while enjoying morning coffee was a treat!! Also, a deck and patio out back where we all had pizza and watched the rabbits and deer hop around the back yard. Claudette was helpful and a lot of fun to chat with. She keeps this property running smoothly and you can tell she really enjoys being there. We all enjoyed our time on the Vineyard and staying here and would recommend

A hidden gem. Great location 15-20 walk to downtown Oak Bluffs, or a bus ride In front of resort that comes by every 15min. The older furniture give this ranch style resort great character. Very very clean. The continental breakfast was a great start of the day. Table pool in the lobby is a great addition. Owner Bernadette is awesome. It was a quiet, peaceful relaxing kind of resort. Overall rating for me is a 5star, I will definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the Martha's Vineyard Resort July 21 to 23rd 2017 to attend a family gathering. The building and grounds are quiet and comfortable. The Innkeeper Claudette was very kind and helpful. The continental breakfast is just enough. It is only a few minutes drive to the Oak Bluffs downtown "action". We found good prices in a service called "Your Taxi". 1-800-396-0003. While I'm not sure what all the fuss is about over Martha's Vineyard and I doubt I'll ever return we did have a pleasant stay at the Martha's Vineyard Resort.
