Madison Inn

Even before arriving at Martha's Vineyard, we received so much information about our trip, restaurant recommendations, and tips that made our planning easier. Our stay began with a warm welcome and lots of hospitality. The room was incredibly lovingly furnished, very cozy, and perfectly clean. Everything you need and even a basket with water and chips. The beds are a dream! Mary took a lot of time to give us tips for a perfect afternoon, including restaurant recommendations and transportation options. The next day, John also gave us lots of tips for our island road trip. We really felt that there was so much passion involved. There was also coffee and tea, which was wonderful. On the day of departure, we were even taken to the harbor, which we really appreciated and are incredibly grateful

My last visit to the Madison Inn was just perfect. This is actually my sixth or seventh trip to Oak Bluffs and I always stay there. As a matter of fact, I always choose the same room. The room is always cozy and comfortable and at this point I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. The warmth is felt upon entering the front door and continued throughout my stay. It’s very clean and there is practically nothing that was not anticipated for their guests. | Mary and Heather set it off on my first few visits, and this last visit there was Simone and John, both of whom were very nice and welcoming. | Oak Bluffs and The Madison Inn are my happy places and I look forward to many more visits.

Staff is very friendly and most helpful with recommendations. Inn location is easy to reach from the ferry and in the heart of downtown Oak Bluffs, allowing for frequent stopover during the day. Room is very comfortable and clean, with ample lighting and amenities. Added features include readily available beverages, fruit and snacks. The private courtyard is a relaxing and comfortable place to sit and rest. One of the best hotel experiences that we have had, both here in the US and in Europe.

Great little hotel in a fantastic location! I am just back from a 1 night trip with my family. Our last minute “end of summer quick getaway.” I wish I had taken photos, but the 4 of us stayed in a queen double & it was so cute! My favorite part was the ocean view from the bathroom window!||While it close to town and you do hear late night chatter, it’s short lived and the kids slept through it! It is located across the street from Giordano’s Pizza which is directly across from the Flying Horses Carousel. Circuit Ave is one street over and Inkwell Beach is an 8 minute walk. If you’re checking off bucket lists, Back Door Donuts is 3 minutes up the road, highly recommend heading there when it’s dark & telling the kids it’s midnight! ||What I loved most was the hotel offers towels for the b

My husband and I stay at the Madison Inn whenever visiting Martha's Vineyard. It is so charming, comfortable and immaculate. The staff are always super friendly and very helpful. The location is perfect ... close to the ferry, Circuit Ave., and shuttle bus to hop on and off. Not sure where to stay? Choose the Madison Inn - you won't be disappointed and I'm sure you will be glad you did.
