Marriott's Timber Lodge

We've stayed here to ski every year for about 5 years now, always in a 1 or 2 bedroom. The rooms are always nice and clean. Conveniently next to the gondola with ski valet, so you don't have to carry your skis to you room every day. Full kitchens, heated pool, hot tubs, great service. And only a quarter mile from the airporter shuttle drop-off & pick-up. Conveniently located near plenty of good restaurants and a Target with grocery less than a block away.

Diego provided world-class service to the Marriott team. Upon our arrival, he warmly greeted us and provided all the necessary valet parking information. He had a check-in cart ready for my family, making the process seamless and stress-free. Diego was also available at the ski and snowboard check-in, always offering help with a smile. He truly made Marriott’s Timber Lodge feel like home with his welcoming attitude and outstanding hospitality. His service exceeded my expectations, and we will definitely return for our next ski trip to Heavenly.

Kristin Noble and Robert Perkins are 2 amazing people that work there. They took us snow shoeing at Vansickle park. It was awesome. And they are so friendly and informative you feel like they are your friends at the end. The next morning we went to Kristin’s yoga class. It was a lovely way to start our day. Can’t wait to see you next time.

What a solid, high quality experience. As a Marriott Bonvoy customer visiting Tahoe for the first time I researched a great deal before deciding on which property to book. At some point I had reservations in both Timber Lodge and Grand Residences. After reading reviews on FB bonvoy groups I decided to go with Timber Lodge, and I am so glad I did! ||Lets address some of the main complains here on TripAdvisor: ||1. Noisy resort: you are literally in the middle of all action in Tahoe. BEST location ever. If you come during low season, it is still busy, but you have greater chances of getting a quieter room. At check in, all I had to do was to ask for a quieter unit and boom, got the very last room in the far corner of the building - far away from the jacuzzi’s, ping pong table, etc. it was p

Positive: Location Negative: Front desk doesn?t even greet. Having the housekeeper to bang on the door at 10:00 is not cool.
