Marriott Hartford/Windsor Airport

Arrived a few days before Christmas and love the cleanliness, design and welcoming warmth from entire staff. ||Quality people running a high quality property. Must give a shout out to the hotel’s staff, from check-in (Eve) to restaurant & bar to Club Lounge staff (Tina & Nancy). Lovely people here!||Club Lounge breakfast offering is A+. The Reverie Bar & Restaurant are both excellent, with lots of libations and menu offerings.||Nice indoor pool, and excellent gym facility complete the overall refinement of this 4-star property. Lastly, the great room/lobby is truly beautifully designed with class and comfort in mind. Can’t wait to come back here in 2026.

This Marriott has an Achilles heel — and it’s significant enough that everyone should be aware of it. When the outside temperature drops below roughly 50°F, the air conditioning system for the entire building is disabled. Under normal circumstances that might be a mechanical efficiency decision. However, guests are also UNABLE to open the windows. That combination creates a serious comfort failure. Even when it is below 50°F outside, room temperatures remain at 75°F or higher, and there is no way to lower them. The only solution offered is a box fan. A fan does not cool the room — it simply circulates warm air. Without AC or fresh air access, there is no functional climate control. Best hotel I've ever been to around the area. We had my son's 6th birthday in the pool area with about 6 kids, they had a blast! The pool area was clean, the water was warm and there is plenty of seating with tables. Staff were nice, Nancy at the restaurant in the hotel was amazing. She was helpful, caring and treated the kids like they were her own. Great 1st time experience here, I will definitely be back!

Positive: The comfortable beds Negative: Unfriendly staff. I had paid for the room in advance. Then they said they needed a credit card for incidentals but charged me for the entire price of the room.

Very pretty hotel and decent rooms, however, extremely disappointed in the lack of accommodation for a pumping mother. I’m 4 months postpartum and did 2 nights at another Marriott no problem for them to store my breastmilk. However I have 2 nights at this location and just zero effort or accommodation to store my breastmilk. It’s hard enough traveling for work and doing mental gymnastics and providing milk for your child. To add that you have to fight with the hotel (unsuccessfully) to freeze your milk (in milk bags, in a ziploc and in a cooler) is just unnecessary frustration and truly disappointing. I was told there’s a mini fridge in room. There is but I swear the room is cooler than that fridge set to the coldest temperature (and I need to travel and here for 5 days with some Milk alr
