Hilton Garden Inn Hartford North/Bradley Int'l Airport

My fiancé and I stayed here from January 10-11 2026. We checked in digitally, arrived and confirmed our shuttle departure with the front desk then found our room and settled in for the evening. The refrigerator wasn't plugged in and found a bit difficult with the short cord to plug in and get the refrigerator back into its cabinet also the shower looked like it had soap scum on the back wall of the shower. These issues were not a big deal and we did have a quiet night. | The day before I had contacted the hotel requesting an airport shuttle and one was confirmed. Positive: Convenience to the airport Negative: The most upsetting part about the hotel was the vouchers for breakfast. You were only allowed certain items from the menu they had, and pay for items outside of the “voucher price”. The director, was very aggressive when he was explaining this to us.

I thought the location is fine, it's close to my family in Bloomfield, the lobby and bar folks were great and the lobby, while small and crowded was nicely appointed. The room I had? Was almost too gross and dirty to describe. The bathroom grout had what looked like wine stains and under the sink was some splashed brown spatter that looked like it had been there for a while. (see pictures). I thought the mattress was adequate, but the sofa and carpet were just old and dirty. The blow dryer was broken and had a cracked plug with exposed wire. I guess the management for housekeeping is asleep at the wheel and does check the rooms, Noise? not bad. Not many plugs in the room, no USB ports of any kind except some ancient stuff from the early 2000s

Jessica the Bartender is the absolute best! Great front staff. Rooms are clean, but slightly outdated (they're remodeling). Pool was down, but its winter and I was travelling overnight for business. Could see how it may be a dealbreaker if you're a family. Personally, I loved this place.

I am a diamond member. The room was not in good condition. When I opened the air conditioning system, the AC was making a cranking sound. I reported it when I got a response on my phone how is everything. This message is typically received to every diamond member. I never got any response. The next day I received another message about my stay and I mentioned again about the cranking sound in the AC. I was told the technician will be sent to the room and if the repair cannot be done, then I will be moved to room 403. I had to be moved from 428 to 403. It was stressful to move from one room to another.||The most horrific thing happened when I went to have breakfast on 1/14/2026 at the breakfast area.
