Courtyard by Marriott Hartford/Windsor Airport

Hey, it was Christmas night. Services were limited but the personnel were fantastic, totally accommodating, and as social and friendly as can be. We had the run of this lovely facility. Gas fireplaces, wonderful seasonal decoration and as pleasant of a vibe as you could imagine. I went to the work out room and got a decent cardio work out and then found my way back to our lovely and clean room with two queens to enjoy a glass of wine. We also brought food from our Christmas day with relatives and reheated things in the room's microwave to tend to our munchies. What a great time, what a great place to stay.

My two kids showered first, then I went. I got out of the shower and grabbed the remaining towel, pulled it to dry my face, and it smelled nasty. Kind of like if you leave your laundry in the machine for a day or two before drying it - sour and gross. Ended up using a hand towel to dry off with. Got into bed, and one of the pillows also had the same sour smell. Didn't sleep all night because no matter what I did, I kept smelling the same thing and could never really find a source. I even washed my face and head again in case it was coming from me via the nasty towel. Overall, if a hotel can't provide basic clean towels and non-smelly bedding, what's the point?

Wonderful hotel stays during multiple trips to Fast Pitch Nation. THe front desk staff were always helpful and understanding of any alternations that were needed to the reservation. The hotel and rooms are VERY clean and have fresh white linens. The staff made sure we had everything we needed in terms of supplies and was always happy to get whatever else was needed. The air conditioner worked perfectly with nice fresh smell The hotel was quiet and we could not hear anyone in the halls or outside the sliding door. The only downside is they no longer have a pool (which my daughter loves) but it totally served our purpose of space to hang out with the team and families. I had a quick one day trip to CT for an event with my two small kids. I called in for the hopes of getting a room for early check in at like 12p. I believe I spoke with the manager. She was great she said I can come in and do the early check in. It was so helpful for me being it was cold out and I didn’t have anywhere else I could hang out at so I was grateful for the early check in. Staff were welcoming and room was older but clean and cozy. Overall it was a nice convienant location to the airport. I had an early flight back home so it worked out nicely to be 20 mins away.

I am a Platinum Elite Marriott Bonvoy member, which means I stay in 50+ nights a year at Marriott hotels, and I have to say that this is the worst and most strange Marriott hotel I have ever visited. For starters, forgetting the fact that this hotel looks like it’s from the 1980’s, the design is horrendous. Just to get to an elevator you have to walk down a very long hall to nearly halfway around the hotel. If you for example have a room on the right side of the hotel on the second floor, and you are using a luggage cart, to return the cart you have to walk down a long hall, then another long hall, then the elevator, and then another extremely long hall. This hotel while conveniently located (in the middle of really nothing) also charges $10 a night for self parking, and then tells you tha
