Marriott Anchorage Downtown

My husband and I have a wonderful experience at the Concierge. The atmosphere and service were great. We would like to special mention the concierge Manager Renz . He is very accommodating and very nice. He will really take good care of you and will recommend good places to get good food . Renz was the nicest staff we have ever encountered at this hotel. He is always friendly and kind. PS: We would like to thank Dana for cleaning our room really good and throughout our stay she’s been consistent at being nice , making sure that we have all that we need . Dana is sweet and very good at her job. I’m very impressed. We are also complimenting the friendly valet staff, their names are the following ; Henry, Ringo, Daniel and Eduardo. Always paying attention to customers thank you so much . L

We hosted our corporate event of 300+ attendees at the Anchorage Downtown Marriott for the last two years and had an excellent experience. The hotel and meeting spaces were clean, well organized, and professional. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful.||||A special thank-you to Jamey and Alberto, who truly went above and beyond. Jamey was fantastic to work with during planning and made sure every detail was covered. Alberto stayed with us throughout the event and ensured everything ran smoothly. Both were flexible, attentive, and incredibly supportive of all our requests. My hubby and I just spent 7 nights/8 days visiting from out of state. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and will definitely return. There was a problem with the room upon check in, but we switched rooms the next day to a much better room on a higher floor. The front desk staff, in particular, is the most gracious and warm I have ever encountered at a hotel! Especially Cherry (who was so sweet and like an angel) and Nika (who was very kind and helpful). Whenever we would return from dinner, the staff greeted us, asked where we ate, how was it, etc. The valet staff - notably Daniel and Ringo - were very friendly and warm too. As far as our room (1528), we had an awesome view and the bed was very comfortable and the shower was fantastic. I would definitely recommend staying at the love

Arriving late after a long drive, we got to the Marriott and were anticipating a difficult time finding parking due to prior reviews. Parking was found quickly, and we were in and checked in very quickly. Everyone was very friendly and the room was on a high floor with a great view. I had thought perhaps because of the Military discount that we received that they would offer us a less then wonderful room, however it was really up to par with what the price for the room would originally cost. We had a night cap at the hotel bar that closed within the hour, and our bartender, Caitlin, directed us to a good place in walking distance that was still serving food so we could round the night out after a long drive from Fairbanks. I love this hotel! The service and staff are very friendly and helpful|The hotel is very clean and is in a great location! |The price is very fair and reasonable. The bar downstairs has good food and good drinks, its a great place to hang out if you are on business. |My room was clean and had plenty of towels and other things I needed. ||Anchorage can get very wet if there is a thaw and this hotel takes great effort to keep the lobby clean and clear and not slippery from the wet wet weather. |I would advise staying here and plan to in the future!
