A family owned 1960’s style two-storied hotel near the heart of downtown St. Augustine. You are a five-minute walk to the famous historic St. George’s Street where many of the cafés and shops are located. It is the central location that you are paying for. During the “Nights of Lights,” a king size room was nearly $300 on a weekday night with parking which is a premium in St. Augustine. ||We booked directly with the hotel. If you have mobility problems, we would recommend calling the hotel to secure a bottom floor room. There is no elevator on the premise. Then, too, there is no pool or a breakfast at this hotel either. ||Most rooms do have a view of the Mantanzas River. The location is close to all the fun! The pretty view from the rooms is over looking the harbor. The rooms are very spacious, clean, and updated. Our pillows were my only complaint and I can solve that by just bringing my own next time. I would definitely stay here again! I can’t say enough about the profession staff especially Gabriel at the front desk. He helped me move my reservation from a third party to them directly. I had to do this to be able to cancel my reservation in case my husband could not make it. Long story short my husband made the trip and we had a blast with all our other friends that stayed there as well.

Positive: The room was nice Negative: Parking fee of $20. Pet fee of $30. Neither was provided prior to booking. Lower rates were available online and direct through hotel.

This hotel is in a great location you can walk to the historic district with all the shops and restaurants in minutes. Rooms are clean and prices are reasonable compared to other places around. Dog friendly which is a plus for us. They do not have a lot of amenities ( no pool, breakfast or gym) but the rooms have a coffee maker and fridge . The location itself is a great reason to stay here, specially during the night of lights in December

Overall it is very good. Rooms are clean and well maintained, but mattresses and bedding are not the best for comfort. Location is amazing with trolley stops located near by and parking onsite. There is an open balcony area for smokers, which also faces the water. We had an issue with keys but staff was very helpful to correct it and make sure all parties in our group could get replacement keys even when we weren't all together.
