Mansfield Lodge at Stowe Mountain Resort

Outdated lodge. Would expect more for the price you pay to be there ($30/car parking, $200+/day lift tickets, $22 chicken tenders and fries for example) the bathrooms were unclean, the seating arrangements were chaotic for how busy it can get. The amenities are overall just lacking. Definitely worth taking the gondola down to the spruce lodge as it’s more up to date. The only key factor is the proximity to the chair lift and accessibility to the mountain.

The location is good and this lodge is convenient if you want to park close to the mountain (note parking is paid on weekends and busy times). The lodge itself is quite small and outdated, so was extremely crowded and impossible to find spots to eat even early and late into the day. There are a good number of spots to put your stuff. Bathrooms are pretty dirty For families, the spruce peak base is really much nicer and more options are available, but for parking and quick access to more advanced terrain the mansfield lodge is nice

This lodge is where I spent most of my time during two weekend long trips, I wish they would expand it a bit and separate the bar crowd from the cafeteria crowd. But for what it is, it’s a good place to take breaks, link up with friends, and start your day off. A bunch of free cubbies to drop your bag, lots of staff to help with tickets and rentals. But they are definitely missing out by not having a real kitchen and larger bar area.

Stowe is a money grab. pay to park! The main lodge is outdated and over capacity safety issues!!! If it's windy, they will not give any refund, and we only had 3 lifts open and not the gondola. If ur staying at the hotel, they are beautiful and expensive, and if it's windy, you have to take a shuttle to the main mountain because the gondola is closed. Great skiing overall!

Great house! This was one of our favorite places so far to accommodate our annual group ski trip of about 15 people. It had everything! hot tub, kitchen, spacious dining areas, and kids rooms for the little ones. This was in easy driving distance of multiple mountain resorts for skiing and snowboarding. The basement was a nice touch and we played video games. Depending on how we feel, we might come back next year. It looks like it might also be nice in the summer. The views we're very pretty and we hope to come back!
