Mansfield Hotel

I hid about $300 in room 137. I forgot it after the festival. Whoever finds it, I hope it helps. Til next time Inkcarceration!! I don't remember where I hid it. In the chair or under the lamp. It's in there i promise.unless it was found already.i checked out 7/20

Where do I even begin...When I came in, there was no one at the desk. It took a good minute before anyone came to greet us. The room itself...horrible. The tub had been painted with wall paint and was chipped and peeling, the sheets and pillows had holes and stains, the room itself was extremely humid, and we found mold in multiple places. Room service had even left trash in the closet, an empty can to be exact. We also were very disappointed because the pool was closed and we had not been told anything about it, which was one of the reasons we booked this hotel. The only good thing about the experience was the location. It was easy access to just about everywhere. Guess that's what I get for paying such a cheap price.

Very convenient location and the front desk staff were very sweet and helpful. However, the hotel itself is a dump. Our room had strips of sticky wallpaper taped over damage to the walls, huge open cracks between the ceiling and walls, and our toilet didn't flush. If it was cheaper I may have bit the bullet and stayed, but it was going to be nearly $400 for two nights during Inkcarceration and I was not willing to spend that to stay in a rundown, unkempt facility.

We stayed here during inkcarceration weekend and as a maintenance guy of another hotel, I must say it was very disappointing seeing the lack of maintenance in this building, multiple things from crappy tub paint, too peeling wallpaper, to toilet running every 5 mins, to ants, hvac never been cleaned out in its life, the list goes on. Front desk was nice houskeeping doing what they can could do better looking out for stained linen. Idk if it's just from owners not supplying the hotel with what they need or what, but this hotel could have so much potential, if the right person cares for it. If you decide to stay here, it's doable, just know this isn't no 5 star hotel, I can say our room was Bed bug free and there was no signs there where there before either.

Stayed 5 days, 4 nights for a festival. Rooms were disgusting, toilet would not fill back up after flushing had to have maintenance come and fix it. Yellow stains on sheets. garbage on floor in closest and under table. Not at all worth the money they charged.
