Majestic Hotel

We rented an apartment facing the beach. The stairs going up to the apartment were not safe and frightening to climb. The apartment itself was doing and in great need of an update. The furniture was in awful shape. Some bedrooms had no lights at at (overhead or lamps) others had lamps with no lamp shade. The only good things about this place were that it was beach front and the lady at the front desk was amazing.

I wondered if we should book this hotel because of some bad reviews. I am SO HAPPY that we ignored these reviews. |This hotel is very old, but Charming.|The Staff were accommodating and very helpful. At the Front Desk were Tyrell & TAI, sweet gal. Then there was Henry, who was on the job, finding us a coffee maker and a fan. |The apartment was, Clean, Spacious, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, large Kitchen AND a |WASHER & Dryer! We were very pleased |7 of us. |We will be back again!

Just returned from renting the 4 bedroom oceanfront apartment for a bachelorette party everything was fine until the rain came and one of the bedrooms flooded. Maintenance came with a bucket that was it we had to ask for another pull out bed which was brought but no dry blankets or pillows. The last morning we woke up with bites and we found bedbugs all over the couch and pull out!! Be very careful when staying here!! I’m more than certain they bombed the apartment adjoining ours that same weekend because the entire apartment was left empty doors and windows open with all of the lights on.

DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE! ITS DISGUSTING The place is at a great spot if you want to be right on the boardwalk but the rooms are absolutely disgusting and they have rude staff members. We booked a 3 room apartment with 2 bathrooms. We didn’t get the two bathrooms and the only bathroom we had, the tub was clogged and didn’t even look cleaned. The apartment had a very disgusting moldy smell, the doors look like they are going to fall, the blinds don’t even work, the kitchen was dirty and the bed frames looked like a death trap because they lean over the bed. I truly do NOT recommend this place!

Rooms are terrible. I dont know how this hotel is still standing let alone being able to rent out to guests. The smell is awful. A musty, moldy, mildew smell. Thank god we only stayed one night. All of our clothes, blankets everything smelled like it. It was awful, had to wash everything. I truly believe if we would have stayed longer then one night we would have gotten sick. It just seems so unhealthy to me to be able to sleep in a place like this. Staff/service was great and so was location. Needs to be rebuilt. Cealings leaking, moisture everywhere. No curtains on windows and only 2 small flat pillows to sleep with.
