MainStay Suites Pittsburgh Airport

Although the room and bathroom was clean, we needed to use the pull out couch. The concierge on at the time provided us with sheets and a blanket, but Indicated there were no pillows for use on the bed. I asked him what the person was to do that was sleeping on the pullout, and they Indicated there were 4 pillows on the main bed to use. We had 3 adults sleeping the room. The 4 pillows were in use. They Indicated they had given the pillows out and didnt have any for us. That was the end of the conversation.w Breakfast the following morning was OK, but the hard boiled eggs were awful...they were hard. Nilesh was very kind and helpful when I was booking the room, and the hotel was clean, but not having pillows for all guests was not appropriate. The pillows were not even normal size wh

This is an extremely under kept place. Rooms are dirty, bed was made but there was trash on top of the fridge and around the bed, hairs in the tub, ancient grime in the corners of the floors, crusty stains on the chair. Breakfast is a joke completely different from the pictures, no coffee (handwritten out of order note), empty food coolers, gross watery eggs in a stained plastic box, not even any fruit. The grounds are trashy, busted fences, old shopping carts with trash, stairwells lights out, old brown liquid stains on the walls in common areas, whole place smells like old food. SMH literally hotelhell stay anywhere else!

When we arrived there was a drunk man standing at the entrance to the hotel. He was wobbling and could not walk in a straight line and seemed to be falling asleep as he was walking back into the hotel. Then, when we checked into our room, it was clear the room had not been vacuumed. There were crumbs and fake eyelashes in the carpeting. Our dishwasher also did not work and we did not have dish soap so cleaning dishes wasn’t realistic in the kitchenette area. When I went to change my daughter’s diaper in the morning there was a fake eyelash in her diaper (I do not wear fake eyelashes). It just did not feel clean and there was a strange odor throughout the room and hallway. The sheets seemed clean, but that was pretty much the only thing that felt clean. Nice, clean hotel and room & bed were very comfortable. Front desk staff was very nice and friendly. Nice variety of hot breakfast food. We will come back another time.

This is one of the few hotels that has both a kitchen with kitchenware and a full, hot breakfast. This, combined with its relatively low price, made me choose it for my recent trip to Pittsburgh. While the hotel was good overall, several things could be better - for example, the room overall is relatively dark, and it would be better if the room were equipped with a pen and a small pad.
