If you want to feel like home in a hotel, please come see for your eyes. "LARGE ROOM" With everything including: nice clean sheets, soft bed 🛌 with 6 pillows, Clean towels. TV, sofa, desks table with office chairs 💺 , drawers, closet, 4 Lamps in my room + a little kitchen corner with refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and stove. I've been in a lot of hotel in Delaware: Mainstay Suites is the best 👌 👍 😍. I highly recommend 👌 As someone who's working hard, this place will be my next destination when i need a quiet time.

I had a lot of problems finding a hotel with two Irish Wolfhounds, even though they are certified therapy dogs (well trained.) The room and staff were great! I was so happy with the hotel that I told the people running the dog show. They were very happy to hear about it. I believe that for next year’s show, they will feature your hotel in the premium’s list of dog friendly hotels with a big note about large dogs.

First, I want to commend the staff—the team in Dover was exceptional and very accommodating. That said, the hotel room had a strong smell of cigarette smoke, likely lingering from years ago when smoking was allowed indoors. To improve the guest experience, the rooms could benefit from Kilz stain-blocking primer, a fresh coat of paint, and new carpet to eliminate the odor. Additionally, the window only had a sheer curtain, which didn’t provide much privacy. When I opened the kitchen cabinet, I saw a cockroach run up inside, which was concerning. Lastly, allowing guests to smoke marijuana on the property meant that the smell was overwhelming as soon as you opened your door. Hotel was fair. Parking was good. Staff was friendly. The few issues I had were - there was a stain on the linen when we first arrived and the room door was difficult to open after the key gave us access. We literally had to push out way in because the door was stuck. This was terrible and difficult to do when you have food in your hand and you"re pushing a baby Stroller. We stayed for one night so we didn't complain about it but that should be fixed.

This dog friendly hotel was a nice surprise. The lobby was beautifully decorated and a free breakfast was provided. The breakfast sandwiches were delicious and I loved the latte machine! The rooms are comfortable and mine included a small kitchenette including stove, microwave and small fridge with freezer. We also had a sitting area. It is true that the rooms are slightly dated but overall I would stay here again. It is a convenient stopping point for my visits to North Carolina. This hotel is close to I95 or I can choose to head towards the more scenic Bridge Tunnel that ends up in Virginia Beach.
