Magnuson Grand Hotel

The sweetest staff!!! We showed up without reservations at 10pm on a Thursday night they got us in a room in under ten minutes! The bed and pillows were so soft and comfortable! The shower was great. The rooms and hotel itself was so clean. Like even the hallways smelt amazing!!!! The breakfast buffet had plenty of options as well. And all was delicious. Seriously a gem on this work trip for an unexpected stay I couldn’t be happy with this choice. Great location right off the interstate too.

This place was great! Other reviewers made it sound like hell, but it was more than we expected, and really good for the price. Room was clean, no bed bugs in our room, smelled a bit smokey but that didn't surprise us. Breakfast was good! Sausage, eggs, french toast, waffle makers, and more. Plus we won $30 on the lobby slot machines. Lobby staff was very friendly, even though they must have been bored to tears because there were so few guests. Would absolutely recommend staying here if you're traveling on a budget!

We were looking forward to the spa portion of the pool area, since the sign reads "Pool/Spa", so we excitedly put our swim suites and cover clothes on and ran downstairs only to find that there was no whirlpool or sauna. There were rules for enjoying the whirlpool on the wall, but nothing but a cold pool. Everything else as far as service and comfort and cleanliness of the room was excellent. The location is a bit in the boonies but an easy drive on highways to get to areas where shopping and restaurants are located.

Everyone who works here is genuinely friendly and helpful. Safe location, and the beds are good for a night or two--the foldout couch was not the greatest, but we were only there for a night. Rooms are clean but could use some upgrades. The hot breakfast offers waffles, eggs, and sausage, as well as the usual suspects (bagels, toast, yogurt, cereal). A quiet and safe hotel for a short visit.

The accommodation was pleasant as we could arrive earlier than planned. The room was tidy and the staff was friendly. We did experience the housekeeping entering our room during my family's early rest. Fortunately, I was awake, and she expressed sincere regret. She was likely ensuring the room was prepared.
