Madison RV Park

Extremely sorry customer service. Walked in and waited for a hot minute while the young girl was sitting behind the desk listening to an older guy gossiping about cows. When I inquired about space rental, I got a simple “nothings available”. No bothering to check, nothing. Unprofessional as hell.

We were passing through and this place was halfway for us. We pulled in late, around 9:30, so I was expecting to be on my on as far as figuring out the late check in process. To my surprise, a nice lady showed up and gave me the 411 on how everything works. I'm not sure why one reviewer felt the need to "sleep with their gun under their pillow", because I felt very comfortable and safe. Perhaps that couple needs to get out and talk some of these people they are looking down on. They might find that a few new friends. The sites in the overnight section were level, and the hookups were adequate. I went into the office the next morning to pay, and that lady was just as nice and welcoming as the first we met the night before. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Good place, very close to Madison and I20. Ask for a spot well away from the road (US441) it gets pretty noisy at times.

We had an amazing experience at Country Boys! FYI They're expanding and there is some construction (but it didn't bother us). Overall it's really quiet and everyone is friendly. We love the shaded lots and overall vibe. The people who work here are extremely helpful as well. Our hookups were easy to get to and we didn't have any issues. Country Boys is a clean RV park with average amenities (bath house, laundry, playground). It was perfect for our needs.

Not only is this place a total dump on the side of a highway, if you call to tell them you’ll be arriving after hours (7:00pm) they don’t give you access to the bathroom (which needs a code, contrary to their website posting) so you cannot use the restroom while you’re there. Pretty crappy when you wake up at 3:30 am, literally.
