Madison Marriott South

Had a great stay! They recently rebranded to Marriott from a Sheraton. We stayed multiple times when it was a Sheraton and now a Marriott. The front staff and lounge employees were all very helpful. We have titanium elite status and they upgraded us to the executive suite which was extremely nice. They also granted early check in. The lounge provided snacks and drinks throughout the day, dinner bites & breakfast. The pool was nice and looked like they recently repainted it and was very clean. They have a few arcade games as well. This will continue to be our go to for our Madison trips! Thanks again

Overall, the hotel was good for a one-night stay. The room was a good size, and it was a nice surprise to have a couch and a table with an additional chair — it made the space feel more comfortable. However, it would have been helpful if they had noted in advance that the property is currently under construction. For business travelers, the M Lounge was disappointing — the food quality was below expectations, and the fresh fruit selection was lacking (not a single banana was yellow).

I have to say this was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on. So comfortable that I had to inquire on the mattress so I could purchase one for my home. The room was clean, but the hotel itself could use some upgrades. The pool was closed off, without explanation and there was very limited parking due to some upgrades being made to the parking lot, leaving us to have to walk a ways to and from our vehicle. All that aside, the staff was very nice and accommodating. I'd definitely give it another try just because of the comfort of the beds and cleanliness of the room.

I did not plan to be in this area. After a nightmare of traveling I am leaving this hotel glad I got diverted and stuck in Madison. Customer Service and response was above any expectation even before I booked a room. I felt like the staff went above and beyond to make me feel at home and ensure I got rest and reset before leaving trying to make it back home. A special thank you to Shane at the front desk, Mary the shuttle driver plus more and William in the Mclub. I hope the manager knows how much these employees made my trip enjoyable. The rest of the staff was great as well but the 3 mentioned really deserve the shout out. Thank you!
